NAFA Philadelphia Sponsors Manitou Experience Camps
Manitou Camps are one-week summer camps for boys who have lost a parent, sibling or loved one that help build confidence, encourage laughter, and navigate grief through friendship, teamwork, activities, and the common bond of loss. It is a safe environment where everyone “gets it”, and kids are free to have fun and connect with others in a way they didn’t think possible. Throughout the week, professional bereavement staffs facilitate opportunities for the campers to share stories and remember the one who died, while exploring skills that will help them after camp.
There are currently 3 Experience Camps across the United States, in New York, Maine and California, with plans to add another 2 locations by 2017. The camps are entirely free to the campers who attend, thanks to a large and dedicated team of volunteer counselors and the generosity and support of our donors.

Evan Marcus – Dillon Marcus Executive Retreats, The Wisdom of We
Through the use of storytelling, the NAFA Philadelphia Chapter will recognize the pain and lack of productivity caused by working in an “Us/Them” environment. Then they are reminded about what is possible when they work in “WE”.
Fleet Managers report into a myriad of business functions and interact with many more. So whether you work with Procurement, Finance, HR, or Safety (and the list goes on), Evan Marcus will facilitate an interactive discussion including strategies and tools to create more “WE” and move away from US vs. THEM.
The Wisdom of WE™ is a transformative experience – providing a priceless shift in perspective that leaves a lasting impact.
